Coocaa Philippines was established in 2011 as a subsidiary of the Skyworth Group. Skyworth—known for producing the Coocaa television brand—operates a factory in Cikarang, which was acquired from Toshiba in 2015. Indonesia was selected as Skyworth’s manufacturing base for Southeast Asia due to its immense potential; it is an ASEAN nation with the fourth-largest population in the world, and its electronics market—particularly for color TVs—is experiencing rapid growth.
In 2022, Coocaa TV successfully became the best-selling TV brand in the market, taking the lead in the country's TV industry. Since its market launch, Coocaa TV has become the preferred choice for over 1.8 million users in Indonesia. Coocaa TV also consistently remains a best-selling product across all major e-commerce platforms.
